Suspicious Substance Found At UES Hospital Housing, FDNY Says
Two people were evaluated on the scene at a housing building for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and did not need medical attention.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Two people were evaluated by EMS after being exposed to a suspicious substance at an Upper East Side hospital housing building, an FDNY spokesman said.
Fire and EMS personnel responded to reports of a suspicious substance at 420 E. 70th St., a housing building for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital located between First and York avenues, and isolated two people for evaluation at the scene, an FDNY spokesman said. The people did not require further medical attention and were not taken to the hospital, the spokesman said.
An NYPD spokesman could not provide information about the suspicious substance.
