UES Dentist Forced Oral Sex On Patient, Masturbated In Office: DA

The 60-year-old dentist allegedly told the patient "you're so cute, I can't take it anymore."

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An Upper East Side dentist is facing charges for sexually abusing a patient in his office, according to a criminal complaint from the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

Michael Krochak, 60, was charged with sexual misconduct and first-degree criminal sexual act in court Thursday, according to the Manhattan DA's office. Krochack is accused of forcing himself on a male patient in his 20s and then masturbating in front of the patient when his advances were rejected, according to a criminal complaint.

On March 27, Krochak brought the patient to his East 60th Street office and removed the patient's tie and shirt without their consent, according to a criminal complaint. The dentist allegedly said "you're so cute, I can't take it anymore," before kissing the man, the criminal complaint states.

After the non-consensual kiss, Krochak attempted to remove the patient's pants despite the man's repeated shouts of "no," the criminal complaint states. The dentist was able to pull the patient's pants down and perform oral sex on the man, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

While the patient was pushing Krochak away, the dentist allegedly said "come on, you're such a prude, everybody does this," according to the criminal complaint.

After performing oral sex on the patient, Krochak demanded reciprocation, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's office. When the man refused, Krochak undressed and began to masturbate in the dentist office, a criminal complaint states.

Prosecutors asked a judge to set Krochak's bail at $50,000 during a Thursday arraignment, but the judge ruled to release the dentist on his own recognizance. Krochak is due in court again on April 17, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's office.
