Wash Away Your Holiday Stress With A Local Sound Bath, UES
Nothing says 'seasonal self-care' like relaxing in a serene sanctuary while pretending your relatives don't exist.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – Counting down the minutes until your family returns to wherever it is they came from? Patch to the rescue!
Let it all go at All Souls NYC on the Upper East Side on Sunday, Dec. 1, where a meditative sound bath will take place at 2 p.m.
Located at 1157 Lexington Ave at the corner of East 80th Street, All Souls is a Unitarian Universalist congregation – the first in New York City – which was established in 1819.

Sunday's immersive meditation combines (soothing) music, breathwork, and mindfulness practice, enabling participants to peacefully restore their equanimity, no downward dog necessary. All are welcome; a $20 contribution is encouraged.
Jacob Rudin, a classically trained composer and multi-instrumentalist, will lead Sunday’s experience. Rudin has been working in electronic and acoustic music for more than a decade, and incorporates experimental sound design and a wide range of instruments into his sound-healing performances. Hear a sample of what that sounds like on his website.
