Slashing Near UWS' Riverside Park Sends Victim To Hospital: NYPD

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY - A 41-year-old man was hospitalized after a slashing near Riverside Park Saturday night, authorities said.
The victim was slashed in the torso and back after a verbal dispute with an unidentified person about 11:32 p.m. near Broadway and West 111th Street, police said.
The assailant fled the location after the attack, police said. Medics rushed the victim to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
