Waffle Spot Opening In Coveted Upper West Side Storefront Near Museum

A Waffles & Dinges location is opening "very soon" at 392 Columbus Ave., which is on West 79th Street.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Upper West Side waffle lovers rejoice! A Wafels & Dinges location is opening in the neighborhood across from the American Museum of Natural History and near Central Park.

The waffle chain will open "very soon" at 392 Columbus Ave. (West 79th Street).

The restaurant serves up Liege Wafels, which you can add strawberries, bananas, candied bacon, whipped cream, Dulche de Leche, maple syrup, Nutella, walnuts, and much more too.

There is also coffee and ice cream available.

The new location is moving into the former home of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. While the storefront is currently covered by a sidewalk shed, it is a prime location with lots of foot traffic just steps away from the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park.

If you do recognize the waffle business name, it is most likely from their food carts in Central Park or Bryant Park.

Wafles & Dinges also ships its product nationwide and offers gluten free and vegan options. You'll also be able to order from the new Upper West Side location on DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub.

It also serves up a Belgian hot chocolate that it calls one of its best sellers.
