Seminar for MS Patients Scheduled

A seminar for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients is scheduled for Feb. 19 at Domenico’s Restaurant in Levittown.

The event will feature a presentation from Dr. Vincent Macaluso, an MS healthcare professional from New Hyde Park who will talk about different FDA-approved treatment options. He will provide a first-hand account of a patient's experience with this treatment.

Other topics to be discussed include:

• Learning to distinguish between relapses and pseudo-relapses. 
• Discovering the importance of treating relapses.
• Acquiring skills for effective communication of relapses with healthcare providers.
• The available treatment options for MS relapses.
