Aug. 1: Coliseum Vote, Back to School Drive, Soccer Camp

1. Monday is expected to be mostly sunny in the Wantagh-Seaford area with a high temperature near 87 degrees, according to the National Weather Service

2. Today is a vote that will whether Nassau County gets approval to borrow up to $400 million to build a new Nassau Coliseum for the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, concerts and other events. Check back later ti find out whether the referendum was approved. 

3. The in Wantagh kicks off its annual  today starting at 9 a.m. From today until Aug. 26, the charity will be taking collections of items like backpacks, spiral notebooks, binders, crayons, markers, pencils, ballpoint pens, rulers, glue sticks and scissors.
