Thousands of area residents will converge upon Jones Beach Sunday to fight breast cancer.
The American Cancer Society's Annual "Make Strides of Jones Beach Walk will step off at 8 a.m.
The event already has more than 9,000 participants and has raised $1 million.
The money will go ot cancer research.
