SUV Crashes Into Restaurant At Nassau Strip Mall
Police say a car crashed into a building Thursday afternoon. Photos showed an SUV and restaurant were damaged.
WANTAGH, NY — A compact SUV crashed into a building at a strip mall in Wantagh on Thursday afternoon, leaving debris strewn across the entrance. The vehicle smashed into a building at Wantagh Woods Plaza on Wantagh Avenue around 2:20 p.m., Nassau County police told Patch.
No one was hurt in the wreck and no criminality was suspected.
Photos taken by a neighboring business and posted on social media appeared to show pieces of a wall scattered on the ground at SoBol Wantagh, a chain of cafés that specialize in serving healthy food alternatives such as acai bowls, green bowls and fruit smoothies.
