Crime Report: Bar Assault, Van Burglary

 The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's and First Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

• A 2002 white Ford Van was reported burglarized on Merrick Road in Wantagh between June 13 and 14.
• On June 15, Stanley Smykowski, 41 of Wantagh was arrested on Jerusalem Avenue near Wantagh Oaks and charged with driving while intoxicated and two vehicle and traffic law violations.
• Tires and rims were reported removed from a vehicle parked on Morgan Drive in Wantagh on June 18.
• On June 18, Linguang Wang, 52, and Yue Ping Ye, 49, both of College Point, were arrested on Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh and charged with second-degree counterfeiting and first-degree unauthorized recording of performance.
• On June 19, Stanley J Trunack, 29, of Bellmore was arrested on Merrick Road near Arby Court in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.            
• A person reported being struck in the head with an unknown object at on June 21. The suspect is unknown.
