Crime Report: Damaged Vehicles at Bowling Alley, DWIs
Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

- On Feb. 8 multiple people at on 1300 Wantagh Ave. complained that their windows to their vehicles were smashed and items were stolen. The affected vehicles included a 2008 blue Jeep, 2001 tan Mazda, 2004 blue Chevy, 2008 gray Chevy Impala, 2008 red Acura MDX, 1999 white Chevy Cavalier, 2007 gray Suzuki, 2003 red Ford Expedition, 2010 blue Chevy Malibu and 2002 Mercedes. The missing items included blueprints, three Garmin GPSs, an EZ Pass, a radar detector, car charger, handbag, two Long Island Rail Road train passes, satellite radio and a tote bag with assorted items.
- A GPS was reported stolen from a 2007 Mercury parked in the lot of Hassett Lincoln and Mercury on 3530 Sunrise Highway on Feb. 9.
- A car was reported stolen from the Merrick Auto and Gas Station on 3215 Merrick Rd., Wantagh on Feb. 11. Police said the complainant parked his 2003 White Isuzu NPR at the gas station on Feb. 10 and discovered the vehicle missing the next day.
- A woman on Beverly Rd. in Wantagh reported on Feb. 11 that a car battery was reported stolen from a shed on her property. The woman said to police that she observed a man walking down her driveway into the storage shed. Police said the same man was seen in an Econo White Van with two other males. The suspect fled northbound on Beverly Road.
- On Feb. 12, Senad Marsic, 28 of Whitestone, Queens was arrested on the corner of Sunrise Highway and Wantagh Parkway in Wantagh and charged with driving while alcohol impaired and three vehicle and traffic law violations.
- On Feb. 12, Maria K Lopez, 38 of Valley Stream was arrested on the westbound Southern State Parkway in Wantagh and charged with driving while ability impaired and four vehicle and traffic law violations.
- On Valentine’s Day a woman on Twin Lane South in Wantagh arrived home and discovered two laptops and four iPhones missing.
- On Feb. 14, Sheila McClain, 37, of Central Islip was arrested on the corner of Sunrise Highway and Morris Gate in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and three vehicle and traffic law violations.
- On Feb. 14, Sean L Dillon, 29, of Amityville was arrested on the northbound Route 135 by the Sunrise Highway exit in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated and four vehicle and traffic law violations.
The information is taken directly from incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.
