Crime Report: Stolen Car, DWI Arrests

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the seventh and first precincts.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct and First Precinct incident reports. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction
 

  • A handicap permit was removed from an unlocked vehicle parked on Blue Spruce Lane in Wantagh sometime between April 20-21. 
  • A 2002 black Ford was stolen from a parking lot on Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh on April 23. 
  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a 1998 Toyota SUV while it was parked at the Seaford Long Island Rail Road station parking lot on April 24. 
  • On April 27, Jacqueline Walsh-Stone, 37, of Wantagh was arrested at the intersection of North Broadway and North Oak Street and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated as well as two vehicle and traffic law violations. 
  • On April 27, Alexander Kozin, 23, of Seaford was arrested on Seamans Neck Road in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated. 
  • A fence on Bunker Avenue in Wantagh was discovered damaged on April 27. 
  • A bike was stolen from the Wantagh Long Island Rail Road station plaza on April 27. It is unknown if the bike was locked.
