Crime Report: Stolen iPad, DWI Arrests

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

The information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

  • On April 4, Shannon Snyder, 20, of Wantagh was arrested at Wal-Mart in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
  • Electrical wires were cut inside a house on Twin Lane North in Wantagh between April 2-4. Police said small hole in the side of the house was also cut by the unknown suspect(s).
  • Tires and rims were reported stolen from a 2011 Infinity parked on Carrolton Avenue in Wantagh on April 5.
  • On April 5, Edward W Bradey, 53, of Wantagh was arrested on Bayview Avenue in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and third-degree assault.
  • An iPad was reported stolen from a 2011 white BMW parked in a lot behind on 3931 Merrick Road in Seaford on April 5 at around 9 p.m. No damage to the vehicle was reported.
  • On April 6, Claudia Ramirez, 24, of Silver Spring, Md. was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Oakland Avenue in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
  • On April 7, Bob Tatem, 19, of Levittown was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Jackson Avenue in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
