DA: Jonathan Roth Misses Sentencing

Now it's Jonathan Roth who's missing.

Roth, 23, the son of Missing Jones Beach Swimmer Raymond Roth, did not show up for a sentencing hearing, Friday, prosecutors said.

He had plead guilty to charges that he helped his father commit insurance fraud  but the judge revoked his bail and issued a warrant for his arrest, according to a spokesman for Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice.

Following the July 2012 incident, Roth told  police that he saw his father walk into the ocean chest high near Field 6 at Jones Beach, according to the complaint. 

A massive search was conducted and Raymond Roth turned up alive a few days later.
