Death Investigation at Seaford Train Station

Nassau County Arson-Bomb squad detectives responded to the (LIRR) station early Thursday morning for a death investigation after receiving a report that a man was found dead in his vehicle that had propane tanks in it.

A Nassau County police spokeswoman said detectives are investigating the incident as a possible suicide. No further details were provided by police.

The death investigation did not impact train service on the Babylon branch, according to a LIRR official at the scene.
