5. There is plenty of local high school basketball action on tap for Friday. The boys and girls basketball teams both will be in action against Valley Stream North. The Lady Vikings host Valley Stream North starting at 7:15 p.m. while the boys hoopsters will be on the road for an 8 p.m. tip-off. The boys basketball team will be at Division starting at 6:30 p.m.
