Feb. 9: Wake for Fallen Officer, Moms Talk, Wantagh-Seaford's First Whiz Kid

What's happening in and around Wantagh and Seaford.

1. A wake will be held for Officer Michael Califano of Wantagh who was  on the Westbound Long Island Expressway in Old Westbury Friday while conducting a traffic stop. Viewings will be held on  from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at located at 4980 Merrick Road in Massapequa Park. Yesterday to the truck driver accused in causing Officer Califano's tragic death.

2. Wantagh-Seaford Patch launches a new column this afternoon called Mom Talk Q & A, which will serve as a forum for local moms in the community to ask and answer questions about parenting.
