It seems like the popularity of Halloween grows every year. It's no longer just a kids day and it's become big business around the country.
But, more than anything, it's fun. Here's a look at some top Halloween events in and near the Wantagh-Seaford area.
Haunted Yard : This yard of house located at 3964 William Street in Seaford will be providing spooky fun on Thursday,. It's also collecting for a good cause. Please bring non-perishable food for Long Island Cares.
Halloween Party: The Leaky Lifeboat Inn, located at 3603 Merrick Road in Seaford will hold their third annual Halloween Party. There will be prizes for funniest and sexiest costumes and there's no cover charge. The fun starts at 9 p.m.
Mulcahy's: The Wantagh pub will Hold a costume contest at midnight. Mulcahy's is located at 3232 Railroad Avenue.
Dance Class: Rhythmology Dance Studios will hold a special Halloween Dance class at 6 p.m. Thursday. It's for children 5 and up and costumes are encouraged. It costs $5 per child. The studio is located at 361 Union Avenue in Westbury.
