SEAFORD, NY — It's still two years until the next presidential election, but former president Donald Trump announced his candidacy.

Trump looks to join only Grover Cleveland to win another term after losing reelection.

The speech was atypical of Trump, sticking to the script, something that former congressman Peter King thinks won't be easy for him.

"He stayed on message. He was focused," King told Patch. "But you have to base it on the last seven years, and he's never been able to stay on message."
