What's happening in and around Wantagh and Seaford.
1. The hot conditions experienced in Wantagh and Seaford yesterday will continue Thursday with widespread haze expected and a high temperature near 96 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.Remember to stay cool and drink plenty of water.
2. As a result of this week's heatwave, the Nassau County Police Department to residents about the warning signs, and treatment of common heat-related problems.
3. Today there will be registration for a Seaford youth wrestling camp from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. at . The camp is conducted and managed by Seaford High School wrestling coaches and is designed for students entering first through seventh grade.
