Remembering Sandy and Enjoying Halloween
A look back at the week in Wantagh and Seaford.

This week marked the first anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. We took time out to remember and assess where we are a year later. But not all of the news was unhappy. After all it was Halloween.
Here's a look back:
We spoke with an area woman who had to rebuild her home with the help of a Wantagh-based contractor. Diane Feirman is also the Public Affairs Director for the American Group Psyhchotherapy Association and offered tips for those who still need help.
We also checked in with Seaford Harbor Resident Stephen Conlkin who is still trying to get back into his Seaford home
Halloween arrived on Thursday, and although there was a small amount of rain, there was no shortage of things to do in Wantagh and Seaford.
It looked real and spectacular but a "plane crash" near Jones Beach was only a drill.
Unfortunately, an auto crash on Sunrise Highway was all too real.
