Report: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Filming at Jones Beach

A taste of Hollywood has arrived in Wantagh.

According to a report from onlocationvacations.com, the upcoming re-launch of the early 1990s movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles began filming at Jones Beach State Park West End Parking Field 2 on Thursday. The film, which is targeting a June 6, 2014 release and stars Megan Fox, is being shot under the shooting title “Foursquare, according to the report.

There was no sign of filming for the movie during a Patch visit to Jones Beach on Friday afternoon.

New York State Deputy Regional Director George Gorman referred all questions about filming for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie at Jones Beach to Carol McConnaughey of Foursquare, who said, “at this point we're not commenting on our production.”
