Seaford Girls Volleyball Team Loses Bid For State Title
The Vikings won the Long Island championship for only the second time in school history.
SEAFORD, NY — For only the second time in school history, the girls' varsity volleyball team at Seaford High School won the Long Island championship.
However, the Vikings fell short of bringing home the state title over the weekend in Glens Falls.
Their achievement, though, is not being overlooked. The Seaford Booster Club wrote on Facebook: "We are all so proud of you!"

In the Class B bracket, Seaford was 1-5 in the weekend tournament. The only victory came at the hands of Wayne, 25-20.
