Town Board: The Hempstead Town Board starts October Tuesdaywith a meeting at Town Hall at 10:30 a.m.
Job Hunt: The Wantagh Public Library hosts a program on job hunting for those over 55. It's sponsored by the Nassau Office on the aging and it meets at 2 p.m. Monday.
Breast Cancer: The Wantagh Library also has a breast cancer awareness program Monday at 8:15 p.m.
Booster Club: The Seaford Booster Club holds a meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Football: Seaford Travels to Locust Valley for a 3 p.m. game Saturday. Wantagh also has a 3p.m. game at Calhoun Saturday.
