Town Of Hempstead Pet Adoption Day; All Fees Waives

WANTAGH, NY — A special Town of Hempstead pet adoption day is coming for residents where all fees are waived.

The "Catchella-Woofstock" event takes place at the animal shelter on Beltagh Avenue in Wantagh.

Along with adoption fees getting waived, spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping are included with the new pet for free, the town said.

Licensing fees do apply.

The adoption event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (A rain date is May 19.)
