Voting, Meetings and Comedy This Week

Voters head to the polls this week and area residents have a chance to see two comedy shows.

Here's a look ahead:

Election Day: On Tuesday, voters will go to the polls to vote for Nassau County and Town of Hempstead.  There will also be judicial elections and referendums. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

School Board: The Seaford School Board will hold a meeting Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Seaford Harbor School.

PTA: Both Seaford Harbor and Manor schools will both hold PTA meetings Monday at 7:45 p.m.

Defensive Driving: The Wantagh Public Library hosts a defensive driving class 6 p.m. on Monday.

Comedy: Funnyman Mark Brier appears at the Seaford Library Monday at 3 p.m.
