Wantagh Chamber of Commerce Celebrates New Cartoon Map

The Wantagh Chamber of Commerce has debuted a new colorful business guide created by MapToons.

The guide features a cartoon-style map of all Wantagh businesses that are members of the chamber, which was first founded in 1953. Wantagh Chamber of Commerce President Denise Langweber said $2,100 was raised in a fundraiser for the Maptoons project, which was celebrated during a networking event held with the Seaford Chamber of Commerce at Mulcahy’s Pub & Concert Hall on March 12.

“The Chamber of Commerce warmly welcomes all of the new members reflected on this map and thanks all of our existing members who have participated in this project,” said Langweber in a message enclosed with the newly created business guide. “The Chamber is delighted to have had the privilege to ‘put you on the map!”
