Nassau Home Catches Fire; Police Investigating
Police arrived to an attached garage completely consumed by flames.
WANTAGH, NY — A fire broke out at a Wantagh home Thursday morning.
Officers arrived at the blaze around 10:30 a.m. Thursday on Manchester Road, Nassau County police said. They found an attached garage was consumed by flames.
The Wantagh Fire Department rushed to the blaze, helped by Seaford and Massapequa fire departments, and extinguished the fire. No one was hurt.

The cause of the inferno remains unknown. It does not appear to be criminal in nature.
An investigation remains ongoing.

Photos and video showed heavy damage to the top of the garage, as well as charred bicycles and mechanical parts. Flames spread to parts of the home as well, with flames visible on the roof.
