Wantagh-Seaford Home Prices Rising Year-To-Year
The housing markets in both towns are mirroring Long Island-wide trends in rising sales prices, according to a local realtor.
WANTAGH-SEAFORD, NY – Prices on homes in Wantagh and Seaford are rising, mirroring a Long Island-wide trend, the Wantagh Herald Seaford Herald report.
According to Multiple Listing Service data compiled by Wantagh real estate agent Michael Sherack, median sales prices of Wantagh homes was $615,000 in January, representing a 11.2 percent rise from about $553,000 during the same period in 2021, the Herald reports. The same year-to-year comparison shows that Seaford’s median sales prices rose roughly 12 percent to $599,000.
Meanwhile, the median home price on Long Island is at $600,000, up from $550,000 from 12 months ago, according to Realtor.com.
