Wantagh's Al Iaquinta to Fight at UFC Event in England
Local lightweight reportedly tapped to replace injured fighter.
Wantagh's own Al Iaquinta has reportedly been tapped for a UFC event across the pond.
Iaquinta, a mixed martial arts fighter in the lightweight division, will take part in an Oct. 26 card in Manchester, England, according to Newsday (paid site.)
He's set to take on Anthony Njokuani. Iaquinta, who as a 6-2-1 record and is 1-1 in UFC bouts, will replace Paul Taylor who was injured in training.
Njokuni is 17-7 with a 3-3 record in UFC.
