Wantagh's Jake Gambitsky Selected to Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Team
Harvard-bound goalie one of 12 Long Island natives to make squad.
senior Jake Gambitsky has been selected to the 2011 Under Armour All-America lacrosse team.
The Harvard-bound goalie is one of only 88 senior from around the nation to be named among the lacrosse elite. Gambitsky will suit up for the North Boys All-America Team when it competes against the Boys South Team on July 2 at Towson University in suburban Baltimore.
Gambitsky led Wantagh to a 14-4 season as a senior before the Warriors to Manhasset 10-7 in the Nassau County Class B semifinals last Thursday.
