DWI
On Sept. 2, a 24, yea-old Huntington woman was arrested at the intersection of Morris Gate and Sunrise Highway in Wantagh, police said. She was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI as well as three violations on the vehicle and traffic law.
Larcenies from Vehicles
On Aug. 27, a thief attempted to take a catalytic convertor from a vehicle parked on Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh, police said. Â THe theft took place between midnight and 10 a.m.
On Aug. 27, a discovered the window was broken on the passenger side of her car while it was parked in the lot at Wantagh Park, police said. The incident took place between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
On Aug. 27 a woman returned to her car in Cedar creek Park in Seaford and discovered a window had been broken and her pocketbook had been stolen from her car, police said. THe incident occured around 1 p.m.
