Greenwich Village Among 15 Most Expensive Neighborhoods In NYC: Study
PropertyShark just published its list of the 50 most expensive nabes in New York City for 2022. Check out where Greenwich Village ranked.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A list of the most expensive neighborhoods in New York City for 2022 just came out, and Greenwich Village finished near the top of the ranking.
Out of the 55 neighborhoods that made Property Shark's top 50 (there were some ties), a total of 24 were from Manhattan, 22 from Brooklyn, and nine from Queens.
Overall, Greenwich Village ranked as the 14th most expensive neighborhood in New York City for 2022.

The median sales price for a Greenwich Village home went up around $125,000 this year compared to last.

The number of sales in the neighborhood also dropped by almost 100.
At the top of the list, Hudson Yards and Tribeca in Manhattan ranked as the two most expensive neighborhoods for the fourth year in a row, according to PropertyShark.
The median sales price in Hudson Yards? $5.1 million.
Elsewhere in the city during 2022, the most expensive neighborhood in Brooklyn was Red Hook, and Malba was the most expensive in Queens, which came in 26th overall.
Lower Manhattan dominated the top of the most expensive list, with SoHo, Hudson Square, the Flatiron District, and Little Italy all finishing within the top 10 along with the previously mentioned Hudson Yards and Tribeca.
