NYC's 'Narrowest Home' Bought In Greenwich Village For $4.2M: Report
A townhouse at 75 1/2 Bedford St. is considered the skinniest home in the city, standing just nine feet six inches wide.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A Greenwich Village townhouse that was just purchased has one very special distinction. It's not the most lavish, most affordable, nor does it have the highest ceilings, but is considered the skinniest home in New York City.
The townhouse at 75 1/2 Bedford St. is only nine feet six inches wide — and while there is some debate over other NYC apartments being skinnier — the Greenwich Village home has gained enough notoriety from the claim to solidify its title as the narrowest.
Known as the Millay House, the home was put on the market in August 2021 for $4.99 million, but got a price drop this summer to $4.199 million, reported first by 6sqft.
