GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A Greenwich Village townhouse that recently was put on the market has one very special distinction. It's not the biggest, not the smallest, not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but is considered the skinniest home in New York City.

The townhouse at 75 1/2 Bedford Street is only nine feet six inches wide — and while there is some debate over other NYC apartments being skinnier — the Greenwich Village home has gained enough notoriety from the claim to solidify its title as the narrowest.

The home was recently put on the market for $4,990,000, according to 6sqft.
