Man Charged With Aggravated DWI After Hampton Bays Rollover Crash: PD
The crash took place Thursday night, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Quogue man was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a rollover crash in Hampton Bays Thursday night, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the single-car crash took place at about 11:05 p.m. in the vicinity of Dune Road and Triton Lane. Patrol units responded and determined that the driver
of the vehicle, David B. Driscoll, 29, while in an intoxicated condition, left the travel portion of the roadway and struck a sand embankment, causing his vehicle to overturn, police said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, police said.
Driscoll was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, police said. He was transported to Southampton Town police headquarters, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
