Pedestrian Dies In Suffolk Hit-And-Run Crash Sunday: Police
The crash took place in Manorville Sunday night, police say.
MANORVILLE, NY — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Manorville Sunday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on Country Route 111, north of Chapman Boulevard, at 8:33 p.m.
A man was walking across County Route 111, north of Chapman Boulevard, when he was struck by a motorist who fled northbound from the scene, police said.

The victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
