Southampton Pet of the Week: Max's Adoption Fee is Wavied
Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home for Max, a 7-year-old Labrador/Dalmatian mix, who has been at the shelter since June.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Max is looking for a home for Christmas and since he his over 7, his adoption fee has been waived.
To help get both dogs and cats adopted this month, the shelter has waved adoption fees on all dogs over 6 years old and all fees have been waived for cats and kittens until the end of the month.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Max or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
