- A new COVID-19 testing site will open in Hampton Bays on Monday, replacing one at Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach. The site will be at Red Creek Park, 102 Old Riverhead Road, have 500 tests available for school-required testing and community testing on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Dan's Papers)
- New Year’s Bowling Party at the All-Star tonight at 4:30 p.m. is a family-friendly New Year's Eve event. Kids will get two hours of unlimited bowling, pizza, bumpers and pitchers of soda while parents get buckets of wings, big-round pizzas and bowling. (Dan's Papers)
- Peconic Bay scallops are hard to find but some are available locally. The cost ranges from $50 to $55 a pound on the North Fork and up to $82 per pound on the South Fork. (Patch)
