1. Parents who lost a son in the Quogue crash that killed five people are advocating for change. The Kiess family is calling for safety improvements on the roadway where the crash happened and new legislation for wrongful death cases. (Patch)
2. Dan's Papers recognizes local teachers for their hard work during a pandemic year. Cynthia Kamp, an Amagansett music teacher, and Lauria Ardito, Westhampton Beach Middle School, are two. (Dan's Papers)
3. Neil M. Salvaggio, of Riverhead, a former community columnist and photographer at The Southampton Press, died unexpectedly on Monday after a long struggle with leukemia at age 48. (Dan's Papers)

• On Friday, minimum wage workers in Westchester, Suffolk, and Nassau counties making minimum wage started getting $15 per hour. New York City has been at that benchmark for three years. (Daily Voice)
