On Friday April 20th, Steve Gellar, West islip Board of Education President was the guest speaker at the West Islip Chamber of Commerce's monthly meeting. Mr. Gellar gave an overview of the proposed school budget for the 2012/2013 school year, and answered questions regarding the recent school consolidations, the decision making process, and discussed ways the business community and the school district can continue to work together to keep West Islip moving foward.
