Barraga to Help Run Blood Drive on 9/11
Drive will run from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at American Legion Post 1738.

Suffolk Legislator Tom Barraga along with the Long Island Blood Service will be hosting a blood drive to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and those that made the ultimate sacrifice to protect America.
The drive is scheduled to run on Sunday, September 11 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 1738 at 340 Union Blvd.
“Donating blood is a great way of giving back," Barraga said. "If someone needs blood, they need it right then, you don’t have time to ask for a donation”
