Boys Soccer Edges N. Babylon in OT; Girls Play Wednesday

John Hassler scored game-winning goal off a feed from Sean Sepe.

Ninety minutes wasn't enough to settle a first round Suffolk Class AA boys soccer playoff game between No. 6 West Islip and No. 11 North Babylon on Tuesday afternoon.

But six minutes into overtime, West Islip's John Hassler took a feed from Senior Sean Sepe and put it past N. Babylon keeper Nicholas Petratos for a thrilling 1-0 victory.

West Islip goalie Sean McAllister had four saves for the Lions and Petratos had 14 saves for the Bulldogs.
