Brentwood Man Pleads Guilty to Gas Station Heists
Gas stations in Copiague, Central Islip, Brentwood, Bay Shore, Hauppauge, Islip Terrace, and Holtsville, were robbed, the DA's office said.

A Brentwood man pleaded guilty Tuesday to committing a dozen gas station robberies, authorities said.
David Murphy, 30, of Brentwood, will be sentenced to seven years in prison on March 31, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives arrested Murphy in October, the DAs office said.

From Aug. 20 until Oct. 22, Murphy robbed gas stations in Copiague, Central Islip, Brentwood, Bay Shore, Hauppauge, Islip Terrace, and Holtsville, the DA’s office said.
