Newly re-elected Suffolk County Legislator Tom Barraga (R-West Islip) recently met with Executive Director Vito Minei and Public Affairs and Developmental Director Judi Lach Veeck,both of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. At the meeting Minei thanked Barraga for his support and discussed with him the various educational core  programs that are available to the  residents of Suffolk County through Cornell. The educators and specialists of Cornell Cooperative Extension use research-based information to work directly with the people of the county to help them achieve success in their professional and personal lives. A sampling of their many programs and services offered include: Agricultural and Horticulture Program; Farm/Meat Production; Marine Program; Administration, Finance, Human Services, Marketing, and Communication/Information Technology; Family Health and Wellness Program and the 4-H Youth development Program.
