District Releases Updated Elementary Enrollment Projections
August projections indicate slight fluctuations in enrollment.
The West Islip School District released the most current enrollment projections for each grade in all four elementary schools for the 2012-2013 school year, showing slight flucuations in some grades in each school.
For the most part, the number of students in each grade have stayed the same or dropped slightly compared to the .
The largest increase falls in Manetuck's third grade class, which grew by three students from 97 to 100. Oquenock's third grade class and Manetuck's first grade class both lost three students, the largest decrease.

Enrollment numbers have been a at school board meetings since March, after the district elementary schools.
