Steven Flotteron Wins Reelection For Suffolk County LD 11

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk County residents took to the polls on Tuesday to choose their pick for the 11th Legislative District.

With no districts left to be counted, according to unofficial Suffolk County Board of Elections results, the winner was incumbent Steven Flotteron with 10,098 votes, or 66.49 percent.

Democratic candidate Lucas Deitch currently obtained 5,065 votes, or 33.35 percent.

The district includes all of West Islip and Brightwaters, most of Bay Shore and portions of Islip, Islip Terrace and Deer Park. It is bounded roughly by Southern State Parkway to the north, the Great South Bay to the south and Route 231 to the west.
