1.  There's a New York State Pre-Licensing class starting at 11 a.m. at the library. The fee is $40 and open to everyone looking to become eligible to take their road test. 2.  Good Sam is hosting a free community lecture "An Open Discussion on Survival" at the Babylon Library at noon.  3.  School events: Oquenock bedtime stories (7 p.m.), Udall Athletic Awards (7 p.m.).  4.  Check back today for our sold column, where we list all the homes in the community that are fresh off the market. 5.  Reminder: The library is hosting a shoe drive until Feb. 4.  Drop off all types of shoes (no tears, holes) across from the circulation desk.
