West Islip has two more national champions within its midst. Lauren Spagnoletta, Katie Rotan and the rest of the C.W. Post women's lacrosse team on Saturday celebrated a 17-16 win over West Chester. The win gives the Pioneers its first Division II national title since 2007 and its third overall. In Saturday's game, Spagnoletta had three goals and Rotan chipped in with one goal. Throughout the playoffs, Spagnoletta — a senior — has been a key offensive force for C.W. Post with 12 goals and an assist. She was named to the NCAA Championships All-Tournament team.  Rotan, a sophomore, was also a presence on offense with two goals in the Pioneers championship run. In the title game, Spagnoletta scored her team's 7th, 12th and 15th goals while Rotan netted goal number four for the Pioneers.
