Good Sam's Breast Health Center Receives Top Accreditation
Nineteen-year-old center underwent a rigorous evaluation.

Breast Health Center recently earned a second full accreditation.
The three-year designation was awarded following a rigorous on-site evaluation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, run by the American College of Surgeons.
The hospital was commended for excellence in community outreach, research intiatives and clinical management of cases by the NAPBC team.

This affirms our commitment to expertly screen for and treat breast cancer, allowing patients to stay in their community while at the same time receiving the very best in breast health care,” said Good Samaritan Hospital’s Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology Kenneth Gold..
Created in 1993 in a partnership with local breast cancer coaltions, the Breast Health Center features a multidisciplinary team that includes radiologists dedicated exclusively to state-of-the-art breast imaging, who conference weekly with pathologists, breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and a team of genetic counselors as well as oncology nurses.
